We are sorry, but we hope that you will understand that - in order to protect our privacy - we cannot answer your questions until you have been shortlisted. Viewing will only be possible by prior invitation.

Due to delays with our advertisers, we have had to set back our timetable: we do not now expect to start inviting people to view the cottage until the end of September. We will contact all those people by email or telephone. During the viewings, there will be ample opportunity to answer any questions you may have.

We expect to draw up a shortlist of the people we would like to come back for an interview sometime around 30th September.

We hope to have made our final decision by the beginning of October. We will do our best to keep you informed by email or telephone.

If selected, you will be required to attend an interview with an organisation that is registered with the Home Office for carrying out security and background checks. You will also be required to enter into a formal legal agreement relating to the tenure of the cottage and the nature of the responsibilities you agree to undertake, so you should have your own legal advice.

The position is open to any suitable couple, regardless of age, race or creed, etc. You will be expected to supply references or letters of introduction.
